I guess I challenge the fashion designers to come up with a dress with visible boning like this that I will like, because the three that were at the Globes last night are here in quick succession. The boob coverings on this one are also AWFUL. It almost makes me miss the Joe Boxer dresses that said DIOR all over them. ... Wait, can that be true? Probably not, but this is BAD nonetheless.

This angle really shows how poorly the top of this gown fit her. There are claims it was an homage to Judy Garland in A Star Is Born, but it's a loose interpretation (in every sense of the word) and also a poor one, I think? Those ELBOW THINGS. Maybe they're weighted, so she could get a workout in while she was drinking the free Champs. That's actually potentially brilliant.

I love that this is not one of the designers we always see, but nothing here is singing on her the way it usually does.
