Elle Fanning in 2004 Dior

Her stylist picked this up at Shrimpton Couture, and cleverly swapped it on Elle as a play on the leopard boobs from her original dress. What a smart pairing. Do I wish people didn't still fetishize the work of John Galliano from when he was really at his personal worst? Yes! Can I deny that it's fun and dramatic on her? No, I cannot. And I guess at this point he isn't profiting off it, so.

Dakota and Elle

Dakota also changed, but into something totally unremarkable. This looks like a woman who is about to say, "MARG ME, BARTENDER."

Zoe Saldana

This is a downgrade for me, AND also very likely to get its delicate hem shredded. Maybe I'd be less crabby if it were lined properly. MAYBE.

Amanda Pacheco, Stephanie Beatriz, Zoe Saldaña, Eiza González and Wilmer Valderrama

Stephanie and Eiza here are clearly longing for the days when we had a big NAKED AT THE GLOBES AFTERPARTIES post. They are carrying the torch. The lights are ON.

Nava Mau

We missed her on the Globes red carpet, accidentally, but this is what she wore there too and she looks wonderful.

Kate Beckinsale

No surprise here from Kate, except that you know who she's laughing with? Jake from State Farm! He IS like a good neighbor.

Julianne Hough

I cannot for the life of me figure out why some of these photos are not full-length. I can't really parse this jumble of a dress, but I can t least confirm that her necklace kicks ass.

Ali Larter

I cannot, and will not, make myself care about the atrocious-looking Landman. But I want the best for Ali Larter, and this dress is quite good.

Jonathan Van Ness

I like this better than the green gown they wore to the event itself.

Yaya DaCosta

Yaya's face card is never declined. However, I laughed out loud at the outfit. The pants and the jacket, I can get with; even the black bra top on its own, sure. But why is she hatching out of a half-skirt?

Pacey

That's just a great suit. I'm glad they let him off the boat.

Auli'i Cravalho

This is delightful on her! She had a good night -- her white frock from the Globes itself was also really nice.

Anna Sawai

Speaking of good nights! We don't have a full shot of this, either, but I assume it stays sexy and great, and I might also wish SHE had worn this from the jump. I assume it doesn't end in, like, human hair, or whatever.

Catherine O'Hara

Finally, we missed HER from the red carpet, as well. Moira Rose, forgive us, you legend. You look great, and once again as if The Crows Have Eyes VII is coming soon.

The Globes Afterparties Were Minimal, But We Did Get Some New Outfits

Two Fannings, two winners, and an ad man walk into an afterparty...
