There is just something really f'ing bizarre about a world in which Kim Kardashian and Cate Blanchett have Special Relationships with the same designer.

This... is crazy. It looks like she fell into a Rogaine bath at the My Little Pony Factory. A sentence that makes NO SENSE, and yet, how else do you explain all the synthetic pinkery shooting out of her vagina and mammary glands?

I braided that tail a hundred times when I was a kid. Cotton Candy was my first My Little Pony, and I loved her deeply. I remember bringing her with me to my dad's office in Knightsbridge on my birthday; he took me to breakfast that day, just the two of us, all dressed up, and then I got to hang out there for a bit and play with a typewriter, and Cotton Candy and I were in heaven (little did we know how much of a part typing would play in my life). She's all jacked up now and you couldn't get a comb through her gnarled, matted tail. Hopefully Cate's gown won't suffer the same fate.
Actually, from this angle, there's something ALMOST Downton about this; it has more of a period feel from the rear. She would positively SCANDALIZE the Dowager Countess in that skirt.
And holy cow, this slide was ALL OVER THE MAP.

Pinned-up bobs always weird me out a little. They look faintly alien. Her makeup looks great, though. Lesser people might have nuded out their lips.

That top is charmingly nutty, but oh, those pants. Those pants just took my buzz and stepped on it in golf spikes. If only it were a skirt.

This skirt does not interest me terribly. It's too shiny to look luxe.

Between this and the Givenchy pajama suit, I just need her to stay away from off-white for a while. ... Well, she can keep the coat. But the shirt and pants are depressing me and it's TOO EARLY in awards season to be down in the mouth.
