# Golden Globes Fug Carpet: Edie Falco

I had a really weird brain fart the other day in which I read "Edie Falco" was nominated for *Nurse Jackie*, and my brain responded, "I didn't know Edie McClurg was on *Nurse Jackie*!" Strange, but at least it sent me down a pleasant rabbit hole of imagining other successful TV shows if you replaced the lead with Edie McClurg (if you are a whippersnapper, catch her work as Ed Rooney's secretary in *Ferris Bueller's Day Off*, please). Imagine her trying to fight demons with Ichabod Crane on *Sleepy Hollow,* telling him that some poor souls all adore the Headless Horseman and think he's "a righteous dude." Or she could pop by *Reign* and mutter that Mary, Queen of Scots, is "such a little a\*\*hole." *Hart of Dixie* always needs reception help at Brick's clinic. And let's not forget how important she could be on *Game of Thrones*. I want this to happen. The Edie McClurg revolution must be televised.

But I guess we're here to talk Falco:
