# Golden Globes Fug or Fab, and then Fug, Carpet: Jaime King

Okay, so I think the bones of a nice dress are here. But it's that COLOR. Maybe it's just the way the light catches it and then reflects off of what I believe is velvet fabric, but doesn't it overwhelm her? And you? Don't you want to wear your sunglasses at night? That and the makeup combine to make her look rather peaked, no? Jaundiced? I mean, Jaime King is ridiculously pretty normally. This hue is to her what the Kardashian's were to Kris Humphries: entirely unhelpful to her image, and probably kind of embarrassing to talk about at work.

The back is all right, though. The braids motif is cute. Really, I do think the problem is the way light hits the gown and then reflects back onto her face weirdly.

It's making her look so *tired*. Worn out. Wan. Is it the combination of the makeup and the dress? Or something else?

Like, say, the fact that she was out late last night running the Mutton & Mead booth at the Ren Faire? Those hungry ale-swilling knaves never quit on a good Happie Houre.

I wonder if she even undid her crown of braids, or just... repurposed them. Or maybe she glued them in and has to wait a week for it to dissolve. Oops.
