Will Arnett, Amy Poehler

In related news, Will Arnett is a popular Fug Nation front-runner for my eventual all-night live Soothing Voice Speak-Off, in which celebrities basically get up and talk and we decide which one is the person we need narrating our lives to us for the rest of eternity. It's going to be long -- we've got both Sutherlands, Morgan Freeman, Will here, a push for Alan Rickman, a surprisingly strong showing for Benedict Cumberbatch... it's going to turn into a telethon, I think. It's going to get REAL and long and we will totally need charitable sponsors and lots of celebs with un-soothing voices (Fran Drescher, Lisa Simpson, Rosie Perez, Mark Wahlberg, Harvey Fierstein, anyone who has ever shilled for 1-800-DENTIST) working the phone banks. Sorry, guys, it's not that we don't like you; we just need you keeping callers awake, not lulling them into the warm womb of your vocal trance.

And here is the dress. It's like many that came before it. I think it's the right feel for Amy -- she's not a cut-to-there, slit-to-here kind of person -- and that she looks super pretty in it, even if it doesn't light the world on fire with its originality.

And that's good. It does look like she sort of enjoyed wearing it, like, "Hey, nice, I get to do that Tyra pose where she puts her chin on her shoulder." Except originally I typed "puts her shin on her shoulder," which is a whole different ball of wax indeed. Possibly literally, as a waxer might be one of the only people outside a bedroom who would ever see that position. ANYWAY. Let's climb out of this... shoot, I can't finish that sentence without a double-entendre. Just vote.

Golden Globes Fug or Fab Carpet: Amy Poehler
How could I resist leading off with this photo? It's like a combination photobomb and that scene from Sound of Music where the kids pop out to say cuckoo from behind each other. Please, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, don't be having any marital problems anytime soon, okay? THINK OF THE CHILDREN. And by that I mean your children and also our childlike sense of need for at least ONE couple in this freaking town to be real and/or make it. [poll id="5811"] [Photos: Getty]
