It's INCREDIBLY simple, this, but it's pretty. And strangely, it stood out, simply because for the first time EVER there weren't 100 other women in red. But before we discuss the back, can I just say that I love Drunk Intern George? Yes, it was kind of weird when he used his acceptance speech to go on at length about Michael Fassbender's giant wang, but it also means he gets kooky. Observe: This is George pre-show...

Oh, you two crazy kids. He does at least seem to have FUN with Stacy. I don't think I ever saw Sarah Larson or Canalis laugh with him. I might love these two now.

Back to the business, aka, the business in the back. I actually like it -- I think she looks classy and lovely, like she's been doing the major circuit for years, as opposed to the wrestling circuit.

Doesn't this feel like a Marchesa dress from, like, eight years ago? It's a bit stuffy... Then again, as these are in reverse chronological order, maybe after she wore it Stacy had a come-to-Jesus with him and took back the night.

(Case in point, the last time George escorted a lady to a major awards show, it was Elisabetta Canalis at the Oscars, and she ALSO wore red.) But we tease because we love, and as much as we wish George would come to work occasionally and then listen to us tell him all about how it's perfectly respectable to date women who are over 40 -- or even over 35 -- we should also probably look at the clothes on their own merits, and not just on whether they came from a stable of pre-approved gowns that meet all the mathematical qualifiers of A LITTLE Interest But Not Enough To Steal Any Serious Thunder.
