You know how impatient I get with fishtails, but at least this one is intricate and lovely. And we've said this before, but it bears repeating: Sofia Vergara's dresses are almost always perfectly fitted. Obviously, yes, fitting something to that figure is probably a pleasure, but the way designers complain about a modicum of hips or bust on a woman, you'd think it was like trying to put a dress on the Alps. OBVIOUSLY it can be done. She never has to tug on a bodice, and everything hits exactly where it should. Love or hate the dress, it's really hard to look away, which is the whole point.

Twitter was divided on who Julie was channeling -- Grace Kelly got a lot of votes, as did January Jones, and a couple for Dianna Agron. Bowen said to Seacrest that she wanted to go girly, and she definitely succeeded. While it's more flattering than some of the stuff she wears, it also feels really costumey on her. Part of that seems to be that she didn't know what to do with her face on the red carpet, so in most of the photos her smile seems either falsely large or weirdly frozen, like she's too self-conscious or self-parodying -- MOCKING Grace Kelly rather than channeling her. Which I don't think was on purpose.

Poor Sarah here had the zipper on her dress break, and Giuliana's people had to sew her into her dress before she did her interview. Sarah laughed it off as too much McDonald's. Girl, please. You are eighty Big Macs away from even needing to THINK about your McDonald's consumption.
