# Golden Globes Fug or Fab: Kerry Washington in Mary Katrantzou

I find Kerry Washington, as a person, to be so appealing on the red carpet. She always seems so delighted and vivacious and bubbly and she's just a treat. That said:

I really liked this when I saw it from the knees up, but it hasn't grown on me with time. I know we bang on about this constantly, but this particular length can get very weirdo, and I think it's full-on awkward here. Wouldn't this have been kickier if it had been knee-length? (And if the top had fit better?) I can why she liked this: the colors are neat, and the texture is interesting, and the pattern on the skirt is really groovy, but I feel like it fizzles out when it could have sparked.
