I'm having some trouble really connecting to Alicia Vikander, and I think some of it is that I only ever seem to find photos where she's looking ALMOST at the camera but isn't quite making proper eye contact with it. The effect is that she seems dazed and only 70 percent present. I am not picking these pictures on purpose, either; I only ever notice it after I've downloaded them and it's too late. Maybe she and I are just not destined to be close.
