# Golden Globes Fug/Fug-or-Fab Carpet: Taylor Swift

Let's start with the one I know that I don't like:

She looks like a drunken hammock.

But she changed into this for the post-parties; her red-carpet gown was much larger and more dramatic:

I really went back and forth on this. Right NOW, I am leaning toward a fondness. The cut reminds me of [Julianne Moore's yellow thing from the Emmys](https://gofugyourself.com/emmy-awards-fug-carpet-julianne-moore-09-2012?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), with the skirt sitting right up under the chest -- not generally something I love, and on Taylor, the black piece might be sitting a touch too low. But it DOES fit her well, and the back is cool.

When Kelly Osbourne did that obnoxious thing where she announces she got a text message from her celebrity bestie(s) and that Taylor would be wearing red, it didn't feel very revolutionary, especially because [she just wore that color in impressive fashion at the CMAs](https://gofugyourself.com/cmas-well-played-taylor-swift-11-2013?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). But this didn't feel samey, in the end, and despite the mild whiff of wrapping expensive linens around her because her pants had burned off or something, I think I'm on board.
