The whole night, Jess kept saying to me, "Did you see Megan Mullally's hair?!?" and I'd think, "Ack, no, I just missed it AGAIN." And then it turned out I had NOT missed it; I just didn't recognize her and thought she was some random composer's quirky personal assistant. Having said that, I am pleased Ron Swanson's mustache is in such fluffy, resplendent form, and that she chose to wore elbow bags to the Globes, because that feels right somehow. I hope they doubled as purses/flask pouches.
They are friends with Naeem Khan, so she'd BETTER get a gorgeous dress from him.
Her expression throughout his speech was amazing. It was very loving, very patient, very, "Yep, this is happening. We'll laugh about it later." She looks nice, but I won't remember it tomorrow, which is also maybe how he felt about his speech.
It's a little hard to tell, at least on my computer (everything always looks so dark -- I lighten all my screen grabs for recaps just so I can tell what I'm doing), but this had a floppy peplum. And it's so banal compared to the interesting choices she's made in the past.
Speaking of banal. I'm not mad at it; just not captivated, either.
Ditto. This gown is the junior varsity version of Blanchett's. Well, maybe further removed than that. The pee-wee version.
I am too hypnotized by her ring to focus.
This is eating her alive.
Oh, Nina. Cherished Nina. I just feel like your boobs are glaring at me.
At first I wasn't sure what to make of this, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. It DEFINITELY looks like two dresses left their original partners and got married, but sometimes the second time around is when it all makes sense, at last.
I'm doubtful about the length, but overall: FIERCE, Agent Scully.
Very basic, but I dig the Wonder Woman Bracelet.
Keep the shoes and start from scratch, Leg. I mean, kid.
Ditto. But maybe leave the shoes behind too this time.
