I like her edgy shoes with this. But I think here, I wish she'd just closed up the keyhole and then put a skinny belt around the dress that maybe had a bit of flair in the center. It's not BAD, per se, but I think the gaping is not why it works, either. It's just there.

We groaned when we first saw this. That hole there almost looks like a rip, and I don't think the top is doing her a ton of favors. But black IS technically not nude, nor beige, nor taupe, nor anything in the Blah family, so I guess we'll call it a win. Is there a part of you that wishes this were fuchsia, though? Or blue, or something?

The dress somehow looked better when she was up on stage doing this bit with Will Ferrell, whose face here is cracking me up deeply - it's like he turned into his own Alex Trebek impersonation. I liked this bit, although it reminded me of the thing she did on Weekend Update with Fred Armisen that always made me laugh and everyone else hit fast-forward -- the one where they make up songs as they go. So that leads me to believe that maybe people just hate Fred Armisen, and that makes me sad for Fred Armisen, because he's just trying to do the job he's being asked to do. Sniffle. Now I'm going to go turn on my cell phone and wave it in the air for a little while and sway, all for Fred Armisen.

Word to the wise, though, Wiig: Wear a coat that buttons, because otherwise this dress looks like you're wearing a bikini top and oh, the pearls, they will be clutched.
