Goodness, he's handsome. It took me forever to even notice that his tuxedo is potentially purple.

I love this photo. He's like, "All right. InStyle party. Let's get down to business. I am ready to do this." (Also, when you can see a man's dimples when he isn't even really smiling, you KNOW those dimples are powerful. Sigh.)

I swear, I didn't even realize this was a Buttoning/Unbuttoning shot when I downloaded this photo. But I'm glad it is.

Alan tweeted on Saturday night that everyone was going to make fun of this suit and I think he is overestimating the level of crazy here. This is nearly totally normal! The bottom is a bit Bieber, but certainly -- especially for noted kook Alan Cumming -- not over the top!

Reenacting pivotal moments from The Karate Kid in those shoes is no small feat. (One of you on Twitter noted that if Eddie Izzard had been present, they would have had a fight over those shoes, and I tend to agree.)

Yes, yes, Damian, we see you too.

Lots of blue on the red carpet this particular Golden Globes. I enjoy it when the men branch out.

David, however, is reliably dapper at every event. This is a VERY high degree of difficulty, but I think he's pulling it off.

And I believe Sunday night is when MANY of us found out that he's on a show on Amazon.

All over the world, entertainment journalists are working on various Eye of the Tiger puns for the Oscars.

He looks totally handsome and fine and god, just give the man the Oscar so we won't have to keep HEARING ABOUT IT. I don't know who started this narrative that it's criminal that Leo doesn't have an Academy Award, but I find it a bit overwrought. Leo is an excellent actor. (I like Leo! He's a fan of my university! I met him once and he was really nice!) But he's also only 41. A lot of excellent actors don't have an Oscar at 41. That's the ENTIRE REASON the Oscars are known for eventually giving you one once you get old - to reward you for a body of work. Looking at the years in which he was nominated, I don't even think he was really robbed, other perhaps than when he lost for What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, in which he was AMAZING, but for which he lost...to Tommy Lee Jones, himself getting a Body of Work Oscar for The Fugitive (although that is an excellent movie, and he's great in it). And, frankly, in that year, the person I REALLY think got robbed was RALPH FIENNES for Schindler's List. Fiennes is 53 and HE doesn't have an Oscar EITHER. THAT is criminal. THAT is going to be my new crusade. GET FIENNES AN OSCAR. (You all know I was briefly famous at UCLA for having a really amazing shrine to Fiennes in my dorm room. I used the microfiche machine to find obscure publications, you guys! TOTAL STRANGERS knew of my Fiennes Shrine. IT LIVES WITHIN ME TODAY AND GETTING RALPH AN OSCAR WILL BE MY GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT.)

Hey, Hammbone! Hamm was, in addition to being handsome, quite hammy in the press room.

As I said on Twitter yesterday, this photo seems like it will be useful.

A LOT of people got into wacky shenanigans with their statuettes in the press room.

This one looks like his own wax figure.

17-year-old me is REALLY delighted that Christian Slater is having a career resurgence.

Will looks nice, Jada looks nice, Will's eldest son Trey is totally cute! This was an informative slide.

Harrison Ford, as ever, wishes he were home smoking a giant blunt, but Calista looks quite pretty, no?

This is a great color on Luciana. (Matt always looks stressed on the red carpet lately. I decided he's just constantly worrying about Ben.)

Sure, fine, whatever.

She continues to leave me rather cold -- although she looks very pretty -- but he leaves me hot, so we're even here!

I know you expect me to complain about this, but I actually kind of get what he's going for. He was also HILARIOUSLY unmoved when he was talking to Giuliana, and it was kind of great.

That jacket is festive!

Everything here seems to be as it should be.

Pull it together, dude.

Conversely, everything here is very nicely pulled together indeed.

Ditto.

Ditto ditto.

ONLY The Rock could rock a velvet blazer like this. And, men of the world, do not ever bewail that you cannot get clothes that fit you. If Dwayne Johnson can sport a PERFECTLY fitted VELVET BLAZER, you can find a regular old suit.

"Just here for the open bar, honestly. Must dash!"

Is Terrance's tux brown? It's weirdly working.

"Wait. You want a photo of me??"

A little Man in Black action from Cranston.

For one long, glorious moment, I thought this might be leather. It sadly is not.

HELLO LOVER.

We already covered him once, but what the hell. Once, as they say, is not enough.
