I don't know why I'm not more on board with this. It's a pattern, it's distinctive, she didn't whiff the makeup, and her bracelets are great. It ticks plenty of boxes, and finding words for it it feels like work to me. Which... it is, technically. But you feel me. I should like it but I'm just not getting excited. Maybe it was a dream in person.

She looks quite beautiful, although I would've been okay with leaving off the cuffs.

This just seems at first like a plain dress with a perforated hem. Nothing that special...

But then she moves, and the lining is a rich blue. I wish they'd skipped the weird punctures and just done a small slit so we could see more. It adds so much spice.

This is pretty, but it also sorta looks like the ABS BY Allen Schwartz version of J.Lo's dress, which will turn up in Us Magazine in two weeks.

Lola, sister of Girls' Jemima, is in "Mozart in the Jungle." And I have to say, something about the bare feet and the tumbling hair really DO make her look like a Greek goddess. I always advocate shoes in public places, but you could almost believe she's posing for someone who will chisel her in marble and deposit it in Florence.

She is self-consciously clutching the slit in just about every photo, too. Ladies, test your gowns.
