# Golden Globes Well Played, Sarah Michelle Gellar

I know, judging from our Twitter feed, that this is going to be controversial, but I stand by it. I really like this:

I LOVE it when someone wears a pattern to an awards show, as evidenced by how much I liked[ this on Rachel McAdams](https://gofugyourself.com/oscars%5Fwell%5Fplayed%5Fcarpet%5Frachelmcadams2010-03-2010?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and I actually remember [this one more fondly than we originally presented it](https://gofugyourself.com/golden%5Fglobes%5Ffug-or-fab%5Fcarpe-01-2009?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I think it's fabulous -- dramatic, but not too serious, and the color is excellent on her. Yes, in a crabbier mood I might have written something like, "DID SHE PUT THIS THROUGH THE WASH WITH A BALL POINT PEN?!?!?!" but I am a softer person now and not just around the abs.
