People are hot for her performance in *The Favourite*, but she did NOT win Best Actress; Toni Collette scooped her (in a surprise, from what I can tell) for *Hereditary*. But, it's a long way to the Oscars and I doubt this is going to affect anything. Stefano Gabbana has a history of making heinous, sizeist, racist remarks -- [the latest, insulting China, he is claiming were a social media hack](https://pagesix.com/2018/11/23/dolce-gabbana-apologize-for-racist-comments-about-china/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), but his personal history is not on his side; he called Selena Gomez fat, for example, and he said IVF babies are "synthetic children" -- and so it's hard to shove all that aside and be like, "Neat dress." Ugh. I hope Hollywood will think twice about supporting them.
