The wild mixing of patterns is something I do not myself have the savvy to try, but I think it really works here, and the blazer thrown over it transmits as relaxed-chic rather than as just one more element. We haven't seen her much in the U.S. on the red carpet, but she clearly has a strong sense of what works on her. ## Lashana Lynch ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287909269-1606693606.jpg) Lashana is the new 007 -- not James Bond; 007 -- and I'm sure the endless pushing of that movie has felt like the most agonizing wait, where she's been asked to speak to being The First Female 007 for about a year longer than she thought she would. It's not BAD? not at all. But I wish it were... cooler, for lack of a better word. Niftier. Stronger. It almost looks like she combed a fringe cape forward before belting the thing. ## Marcus Rashford ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287906586-1606693555.jpg) Marcus, famously, is an outstanding footballer who has done equally outstanding work fighting the UK's child hunger crisis -- [he's gotten the government to backpedal twice](https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/lifestyle/article/marcus-rashford-interview-2020?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) \-- and the underlying issue of child poverty. He's young, and incredibly impressive, and not for nothing, he can wear the HELL out of a suit. ## John Boyega ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287908381-1606693572.jpg) JJ Abrams made so many catastrophic mistakes -- failures of imagination -- with the new Star Wars series, and one was shunting Boyega's Finn to the side. John spoke out about that and followed it up with some impassioned Black Lives Matter activism, and [just generally seems like he's feeling stronger and stronger on the platform he's got](https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/culture/article/john-boyega-gq-icon-2020?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and more and more fearless about using it. And... again, not for nothing, he can wear the hell out of a suit. I still haven't seen it. I wanted to read the book first, so I did, and... I don't know, y'all. We'll see if I get to the show. He looks like a cross between John Krasinski and Adam Brody. ## Patrick Hutchinson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287909953-1606693614.jpg) This utter dreamboat is a personal trainer and children's sports coach who got worldwide attention during a Black Lives Matter protest, when he was seen carrying a white counter-protestor to safety. He looks enough like Sterling K. Brown that I feel like SOMEONE is having that casting discussion. ## Daniel Fletcher ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287910178-1606693621.jpg) Daniel is a designer who first rose to prominence when Harry Styles started commissioning his work, and he's done a LOT with his fame since, from developing clothing lines with gender fluidity to producing masks for his grandmother's nursing home. Regrettably, his shirt looks like he has a napkin tied around his neck. ## Captain Sir Tom Moore ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/11/GettyImages-1287908362-1606693564.jpg) Cap'n Sir Tom walked 100 laps of his garden to raise a thousand pounds for the NHS; he ended up raising 32 million by his 100th birthday. He seems lovely -- I dare you not to well up when he talks about his wife -- and apart from a very weird slight dig at his daughter, [the story clings to optimism as well](https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/politics/article/captain-tom-interview?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). It is, in the end, not as hard as it feels sometimes to grasp onto the good in this world.
