Kimbra and Gotye

Well, first of all, I would like to give sincere and non-snarky props to them for obviously having the best time. I love people who are sincerely excited about things. It is refreshing.

Kimbra and Gotye

She is ADORABLE and I think this is growing on her. She sort of looks like what would happen if they remade Splash and the costumes were done by Marchesa.

On the other hand, it IS the Grammys. I hate to think that the Grammys could go too boring on us. Someone needs to show up looking like the host of a new show on the Sewing Network (a network I just made up), Tulle Time WOW THAT IS A TERRIBLE JOKE. I'm sorry, you guys. Like Miley Cyrus, I can't be tamed.

Kimbra

I mean. She IS really cute. She is so cute and thrilled that she is basically selling me on this crazy dress. I CAN'T RESIST HOW HAPPY SHE IS.

Luckily, given that THIS dress lives in her sartorial history, I think I may have several chances to revisit her wardrobe and re-assess.

Grammy Awards Cracktacularly Played: Kimbra
Kimbra here is the woman in Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know," and the two of them were totally charming when they won their Grammy last night. I think they were more excited about meeting Prince, who presented their award, than anything, and honestly, who doesn't feel THAT? I suspect the Jehovah's Witnesses of Minneapolis must do a far brisker business than those of any other city, because everyone secretly hopes that they're going to open the door and Prince will be standing there. You can talk religion to me, Prince, but first I want you to record my outgoing voicemail message. ANYWAY. Kimbra is apparently kind of a wacky dresser, and tonight was no exception. [Photos: Getty]
