This dress has a giant V for Vagina right over hers. Too much. It's also underwhelming, understyled, and generally doesn't do her any justice. She's sassy and cool, and this isn't.
I also feel a little like Miranda Lambert is being Generic Country Blonde-ified, when she ALSO seems to have some zip to her. But she looks pretty. She doesn't seem as HAPPY as she used to, but WHO IS? I used to have a Diet Coke and now I don't, and it's a sad tale.
I love her -- I am still waiting for the rhythm to get me, though, but I don't think she MEANT to lie to me about that -- but I do wish this didn't look so much like a murder bib.
She was nominated for a Grammy, so I guess I have to acknowledge one of the many other, non-Toni Braxtons. At least she looks fine, but... also SUPER BORING. There is nothing to latch onto here.
At least she's trying, even if she does look like Zorro got her on the way over.
I always love Mary Lambert -- I was so mad that time they had Jennifer Hudson step all over her part in "Same Love," because she is wonderful on that song and it's more poignant from her. Somehow when Madonna sang with her, it came off as understated, and not like "LET'S HAVE A BALLAD-OFF RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW."
I know this isn't red, but I forgot she didn't wear that gown on the red carpet. This is what she wore, and I think it looks lovely on her, and Christina Hendricks, again, this is how to wrangle a chest.
This actually worked quite well on her -- ESPECIALLY in comparison with the sheer pants (lined on the inner thigh portion) she was wearing for the pre-pre-show teleast (the one that ended at 3 when Seacrest's part started). Her trying to get Austin Mahone's attention while essentially half naked was terribly embarrassing. So: upgrade, even though she embarrassed herself with him again later.
I wonder if she wore all those bracelets so that she could donate some to the NABby. That would be a nice side business. My issue with this outfit is her bangs, which I think are not flattering.
Well, I guess one way to line your dress is by wearing a whole other dress underneath it.
