# Grammy Awards Well Played, Rihanna, And Then... Less So

Usually, Rihanna goes for obvious over sexy, or obvious sexyness, or... sexy obviousness, or... well, you smell what I'm cooking: She's a pretty girl with a great body and she very rarely opts for the *sedate* way of telling you so. And so I give three cheers to this simple yet drop-dead-knockout of an ensemble. Yes, I admit, it's still obvious, in its way -- I am adding this sentence after all the commenters wondered if I am blind or insane -- but my point is that there is something more grown up about it than, say, [this](https://gofugyourself.com/grammys-fug-carpet-rihanna-02-2011?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). And Fug is a comparative science. So even though her hair reminds me of 1986 and should never be seen without matching pegged jeans, some thick ankle socks, and canvas Keds, I'm liking the direction she's going.
