Seriously, all my concerns aside about the Bad Idea panties she must be wearing if she's hanging out with Chris Brown again -- whatever you want to say about that, it's almost NEVER a good idea for any girl to go back to Where It All Started and think it will have a different outcome -- this is as fantastic as I've seen Rihanna look in a long time.

And so of course she took it all off to perform. Although I have to say, she's done way weirder and worse than this, too. Y'all know we think leather shorts are a confusing pelvic sweatbath, but she is almost pulling off those suckers.

This looks like when the plastic surgeon sits you down and draws all over your skin so that he knows where to cut. But maybe it's actually a Magic Eye pantsuit and when I let my eyes go out of focus, it will morph into something I don't want to burn.

Less SoUsually, Rihanna goes for obvious over sexy, or obvious sexyness, or... sexy obviousness, or... well, you smell what I'm cooking: She's a pretty girl with a great body and she very rarely opts for the sedate way of telling you so. And so I give three cheers to this simple yet drop-dead-knockout of an ensemble. Yes, I admit, it's still obvious, in its way -- I am adding this sentence after all the commenters wondered if I am blind or insane -- but my point is that there is something more grown up about it than, say, this. And Fug is a comparative science.
