# Gwen Stefani: The Voice Semis

She has one giant belt buckle on each side of her neck, and all those other ones... I cannot think of a thing I would like to cinch LESS than my neck.

Then Carson said she was performing, and I thought, "Oh, that explains it, this is some wackadoodle stage costume." NOPE.

For THAT, she turned to D&G. They made her a custom outfit. I feel like... wearing something they made is a less aggressive show of support than seeking them out, having them make you bespoke gear, and then blessing them on Instagram and saying you're so pleased to "ware" (sic) their work of art. Sigh. And no, I'm not trying to get D&G cancelled (also, I do not have that kind of clout). I just feel like they haven't ever expressed remorse for ANYTHING and so I wish celebs would hold them to a higher standard.

Here is a closer look. It almost reminds me of when Jeremy Scott and Miley Cyrus made a whole collection that was just assorted junk glued onto clothes.

Also, the show was very multimedia (Gwen is more of a performer than a singer these days). It was almost the OPPOSITE of Jenny From The Block -- that was, "Yeah, I'm famous, but I'm still regular old Jenny." This is, "I'm famous! REMEMBER ALL THESE FAMOUS THINGS I DID? YOU LOVED THEM! AND I AM STILL FAMOUS, YAY!"

P.S. Kelly Clarkson remains a splendid human and I LOVE that she wore a General Leia Organa As Global Overlord outfit. She performed on tonight's show, and her voice is just... she is who I'd want as my coach because her talent is immense, and she is adept at both original music and performing covers and understanding how to change them for your own self-expression. AND she seems like a freaking joy of a human being. I LOVE HER.
