This is GREAT -- she always looks so striking, but I think this is one of her most sucessful looks ever. Doesn't she look like she's the delightfully brassy heroine of a fizzy 20s period piece? I love it.

This is the first time in a long time where I feel like she's wearing something appropriately youthful that she also looks like she's comfortable in. More interesting to me, though, is this piece about this particular LV collection. They showed the resort line, including this tee-shirt dress, at an AMAZING I.M Pei-designed museum in Japan, in what seems like a transportive experience for everyone who got to go, and this dress was (if I understand it correctly) part of a collaboration with Kansaï Yamamoto, who worked a lot with David Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust era and who created the art here, as well as art on a variety of bags, and other pieces of clothing.

It's sort of hard to follow Sophie, as her dress was compelling beyond just what it looks like, but this is a good color on Maisie. She usually looks quirkier than this, and I kind of wish she'd done MORE with it, but i can't ding her for it.
