# Haley Bennett Went Thematic for the Premiere of "Widow Clicquot" at TIFF

This film is apparently based [on a book of the same name](https://amzn.to/3EHSJyF?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and yes it IS about Clicquot as in Veuve Clicquot and the heroine *is* a widow. (Until I looked this up, I thought "the widow Clicquot" might be a clever title for a film about a young woman's experience working for a drama-filled champagne bar or something.) For me, this ensemble is...a bit on the nose, and also has me *very* concerned that the next new trend in youthful hair is Victorian in nature. I guess it *has* been a while since everyone wore random clusters of ringlets over their ears. We should have known it was coming.
