Between her and her name twin Halle Bailey at the AMAs, I wonder if we are headed into a place of all our torsos being invited to lace themselves like so many winter boots.

I saw this and gave it a fond passing nod -- it's a great pattern, the fact that she's totally cloaked in it tracks with the latest head-to-toe matching trend, check, check, checked.

SURPRISE, part of the coat is the photonegative. But not half of it. A *quarter* of it. It's a sleeve of contrast. A Sleeve of Contrast, by the way, can also be the title of an EXTREMELY boring period novel set in an atelier.

Oh, and the tie in the back is ALSO white. Honestly, from behind it looks like she's wearing a coat but holding a second coat. I think... a full photonegative coat, or half, would have been better than the seeming randomness of this choice.
