We originally ran this slideshow [after Chadwick Boseman's tragic death](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/chadwick-boseman-was-also-a-king-of-the-red-carpet-08-2020/) (it was an expansion of one we'd written even earlier, just as a general tribute to his sartorial derring-do). But with his birthday passing over the weekend, it felt apt to run it again, just to remember one more time what a shining star he was -- his presence, his intelligence, his talent, and yeah, his artistry when it came to the red carpet.
This tribute from Marvel was really emotional:

And Viola Davis, his co-star in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom -- a film that will likely net them both Oscar nods -- posted this:

> Happy birthday in Heaven, Chadwick! You are still so alive to me!! I love you [pic.twitter.com/TBhQlpIaRl](https://t.co/TBhQlpIaRl?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)

When I went to copy the embed code, I accidentally almost clicked on "Block Viola Davis." No. I NEVER WANT TO BLOCK VIOLA DAVIS. Twitter ought to know that.
