Whereas I would like to note that I have figured out why I have such fondness for Kate, and it's that neither one of us ever saw a nautical-striped shirt we didn't buy. Not ever. ## Kate Middleton & Prince George Watch Prince William & Prince Harry Play Polo ![Kate and George Watch Prince William and Prince Harry at Polo (2)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-george-polo-ffn_royals_polo_flyuk_061514_51451901.xml) I appreciate that George here seems to grasp the GRAVITY OF SPORT. Trying to hit a ball with a mallet on an enormous animal is racing about with you on top of it IS SERIOUS BIZNESS. ## Kate Middleton & Prince George Watch Prince William & Prince Harry Play Polo ![Kate and George Watch Prince William and Prince Harry at Polo (5)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-george-polo-spl782441_006.xml) I think [these are same little overalls as he wore when they left Australia.](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/well-played-kate-wills-and-georges-royal-tour-of-australia-and-new-zealand-day-nineteen-04-2014/) I have a weakness for wee overalls on tiny peoples. It's the polar opposite of the feeling I have about overalls on grown peoples. ## Kate and George ![Kate and George Watch Prince William and Prince Harry at Polo (3)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-george-polo-spl782223_010.xml) THAT WAS AMUSING BUT THERE IS SOMETHING OVER THERE I MUST EAT GOODBYE." ## MALLETS ![Kate and George Watch Prince William and Prince Harry at Polo (4)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-george-polo-spl782223_011.xml) "MOTHER THIS APPEARS TO BE AN ITEM I NEED TO CHEW AND ALSO HIT PEOPLE WITH PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME GIVE IT TO ME NOW PLEASE." ## Prince George ![Kate and George Watch Prince William and Prince Harry at Polo (7)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/prince-george-ffn_royals_polo_flyuk_061514_51452050.xml) "HELLO. THE RUMORS ARE TRUE. I AM WALKING. I AM WALKING OVER THERE PLEASE. OVER THERE. THERE. NOW." Ten buck (pounds, sorry) that the sippy cup Kate is holding has Cheerios in it. These are the Cheerios years. I clearly remember coming home once from visiting Heather's twins at this age and finding Cheerios in my bra. ## Kate Middleton and Prince George visit Prince William ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-william-prince-george-ag035967_28.xml) "HYDRATE ME NOW PLEASE DADDY THANK YOU." I enjoy that William's horse appears to approve. ## Kate Middleton and Prince George visit Prince William ![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-william-prince-georgeag035967_31.xml) He is just undeniably squashy. I too spent mine terrorizing the polo grounds while my father whacked at things with a mallet. (Not really: we're getting pizza later. Hi, Dad!) This is my gift to those of you who felt that yesterday's Balcony Shenanigans were far too George-less, and also people who like white polo pants and blue-and-white-striped shirts everywhere: You are my people. Edited to add Extra William. \[Photos: Getty, Fame/Flynet/AKM-GSI\]![](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/content/files/www-gofugyourself-com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/kate-prince-george-polo-ffn_royals_polo_flyuk_061514_51451874.xml)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/happy-sunday-its-prince-george-06-2014/)
