This is a pretty solid, badass cover. Ski-goggle sunglasses are so silly, but she has a MAJOR aura in this shot, and I love the confidence that they don't even really need to show a clear shot of her face. I think you might even know it's her without her name on the cover.

Of course this is Saint Laurent. I'd know the lace and heinous shoes anywhere. You could spear a cocktail olive with them. This all looks less like she's basking in the sun than that she's recently fainted.

This feels a bit like... a melancholic slump onto the floor? I want the whole thing to feel more triumphant but again, I don't know what the physical considerations had to be.

She has a lot of presence. However, a cockamamie high-fashion makeup job might have been a hoot here.

"Did I step on the hem? No? Phew."

This cape is fantastic. I want to know more. I really wish they'd let her go ham in this.

This is not what I would call "ham."

We are in Cape City here.

I would have loved to see more variety in the approach here? Or just a more tightly curated album of photos.

This is a cool profile shot; I prefer it to the previous two.

Something about this compact pose makes all her proportions seem unusual, and almost like the arm is photoshopped in.

She looks so COLD. SOMEBODY WARM UP CELINE.

And they DID, and she's so happy. Always have a wrap.

Yeah, I wish they'd managed a BIT more joy.

I'm not even sure why this one is in here -- it's not quite artistic enough to be interesting, but at least it's different?
