I am very into the idea of a little tuxedo dress, and this feels VERY in her general stylistic wheelhouse -- she loves a lady tux effect. I think it's very chic on her. And, for what it's worth, no, I do not think it's too short for an evening out. For my money, the proportions on this dress are exactly right.

It makes sense that a woman who so loves a shirt-dress would also love a jacket dress. Between this, and Kate's love of coat-dresses, the Young Duchesses of Kensington Palace are really covering all their dress hybrid bases.

Yes, I pulled MANY photos of this dress. What can I say? I'm into it. I'm also SUPER into that purse. I haven't seen a credit on it yet, but I'll update this post when I do. OH I'LL UPDATE IT.
