This dress tie is a touch higher than she wore it before, which makes sense; everything is going to fit differently after you have a baby, but I do think that's where the waist-tie can bedevil a person. This is practically right up under her chest and it looks a little uncomfortable. I almost would've left it off entirely. I'm not sure what it's really doing; we can already see aesthetically that it's a trench-style cut. (Also, that fabric did not stand up to the day's travel demands.)

Here's a look at the other side, where it seems like the dress may have been pegged to keep it from blowing up. Wise. Meanwhile, Harry just wants Wills to know that his presidency of the Blue Suit Club is NOT a given.

She went really delicate with the earrings. I haven't seen a credit on them yet, but I like the little hit of blue, and wish we'd had more color throughout.  (I also still think her makeup person -- or, it's her doing it herself; either way -- puts the blush on way too high and a bit too heavy? Am I crazy?)

with Graca Machel

This view of the dress and the shoes underscores the color differences. I think she'd have been better off even with a navy shoe, or black. That shade of beige, next to the blushier trench, makes the shoes look scuffed. Ms. Machel meanwhile, looks FABULOUS. She is the star of this photo.

Did I download this photo just because whatever that woman is holding is gorgeous? Yes.

There's a piano picture for, frankly, all four of them. Let's give Informative Caption a whirl here too: "Over 300 guests will be gathered for a reception to celebrate the UK and South Africa’s important business and investment relationship, looking ahead to the Africa Investment Summit the UK will host in 2020. Okay, here we have the Sussexes at "the Tembisa township to learn about the 'Youth Employment Services' (YES), in Johannesburg," and this was a bit of a womp-womp dress for me too. I'm sure it was very breezy, at least, and locally made, and eco-conscious, and all that is great. But the website says, "This fabric is sheer," and she clearly wore a slip -- the wind showed it to us; her team might've tried adding a button?

I am in love with the dress this lady wore to take them around, and I wish Meghan had worn that. The flowers might've hid any wrinkles in the hem from sitting in a car. It's so pretty, and Meghan would've looked smashing in it, I think. Hers reads a bit rumply and like sleepwear.

Here, you can see the contours of the sides, at least.

Apparently I downloaded a lot of pics of this one. I enjoyed Model Harry giving us some sass in his stance here, and I was probably trying to find an angle on the dress that would help me understand it better. It does look comfortable?

This man was a local Masterchef winner, and seriously, this is what I would be doing ALL THE TIME at these things. Tell me about your food!

Listen, as much as I didn't like this dress, her head looks awesome. Those earrings are perfect with this. Imagine if it were a white blouse with a red skirt that matches those tassels, or red shoes. It would have been awesome.
