So! There was a lot on top for these two today in Rabat. They went to a cooking school, where they made a recipe from Together, the cookbook for which Meghan wrote the foreword (among other items), they visited some horsies, they met with some young entrepreneurs (where Meghan was given a necklace). That latter bit happened in the Andalusian Gardens in Rabat, which look pretty. As I am still snowed under with the Oscars, I got a VAST amount of my intel for today's events from Mad About Meghan, which has an excellent write-up.

ANYWAY. Given that I'm literally wearing this today, I feel it's a highly reasonable outfit. It makes me feel better that Meghan also seemingly can't quite decide whether to tuck her jeans into her booties or what, and then does, but they sort of wriggle out.

This is "the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports in Rabat" and truly I feel that jacket over the breton stripe is very cute. J.Crew, you're LEAVING MONEY ON THE TABLE. (This is a decent duplicate at Madewell, though.)

Let's talk outfits! (a) I truly wish Harry would look to the noble pocket square or SOMETHING. (b) At first, I totally thought this was a stretchy pleated skirt that Meghan very creatively repurposed as a dress. But of course it is an actual dress (this one, in fact, which does look perfectly breezy for summer). (This is the blazer, which is very nice).

When I first saw this pic, I thought Harry was tugging on Meghan's ponytail, like a princely Gilbert Blythe -- but he's really helping her put on a necklace she was gifted.

HELLO EARRINGS. This is exactly why I semi-drunkenly repierced my own ears last month! (These exact ones are sold out, but all of the earrings from this designer are good.)

And here's our final change of the day -- it's Carolina Herrera for Meghan. (The hemline looks weird here because she's holding it up from coming down the steps.) This pattern is lovely, and I appreciate that the arched detailing of it echoes Morocco's arched doors. The dress it's based on, FYI, is still available if you have $3000 in your pocket for a gown, and I want that to be true for you. In other news, Harry literally never met a pair of suede shoes he didn't love.

And the sleeves are really good. That's Prince Moulay Hassan greeting them; he's essentially the Prince Charles of Morocco, except he's only 15. This seems like a good time to note that his mother, Princess Lalla Salma, and the King are allegedly maybe getting a divorce? She hasn't been seen since 2017? I feel like...that is mildly alarming?
