From this angle, that is just glorious. The cut is hugging her body like it was born on there, and the details feel sweeping and romantic and grand. I love it. And then she moved.

It really did not need the black netted sides. She has lovely legs, and they are a lucky accessory indeed, but this dress had enough of its own merits that it didn't need windows.

And the sheer panels cut a bit deeper than I realized. Okay, so it's not a Backside Surprise, per se, but rather a Back/Side Surprise. And a sadly unwarranted one. Sometimes it's okay to leave well enough alone, when "well enough" is already also well played.

It's always an adjustment for me to see her without the Peggy Carter costumes and signature red lip -- mostly because I miss our girl -- but that's a very pretty neutral lip indeed, and proof positive that you can find one that still does GIVE you lips. The earrings aren't too shabby either.
