Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen have a new movie together called *The Good Liar*, which looks like some sort of psychological dance between a swindler and the mark he's beginning to care about -- which, a la *Dirty Rotten Scoundrels*, I hope ends in her conning the con man, because Helen Mirren should always win. Anyway, I enjoy that La Mirren has swerved from [big ball gowns](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/behold-mirren-the-great-10-2019/) straight into something simpler; she is embracing her versatility. This Goat dress is nothing I would ever pledge my heart to, but she is giving it sass, and she IS the GOAT, so that feels synergistic at least?
