This droopy bow is never going to be my favorite accent -- it sort of looks like a chic formal air bag exploded on her midriff -- but that aside...I mean, she looks great. (Honestly, even when Charlize looks bad, she looks basically good, but I also think she looks actually good.)

This dress is a LITTLE confusing to me -- I love the fabric, but the torso looks like it shrunk, a bit? Like, the waist needs to hit a little lower OR the skirt needs to be a little longer? Something is happening there. BUT! Having said that, this is still kinda rad.  (I sort of suspect I will LOVE the fabric when deployed in another form.) Her lipstick is glorious.

This dress is very basic -- not in a bad way! -- but this is very well styled; those shoes are killer. (I do NOT know why Eva LaRue is at this event, but I always loved her on All My Children.)

He was GREAT in Versace -- he played David Madson, one of Cunanan's victims, and he is nearly unrecognizable in his civilian gear. (Unrecognizably handsome, I might add.) I also had no idea he was Australian.

Speaking of people who were INCREDIBLY GREAT in The Assassination of Gianni Versace, and who was also in that photo I just linked to. I do hope that show gets the acting awards love it deserved; these men were GREAT in it.

And Rami looked quite good as Freddie Mercury. That movie also looks like they spent a FORTUNE on it, and I hope it's good. There has been some concern that it downplays Mercury's relationships with men, and elides his having AIDS, but I guess we'll find out. I am SUPER ready for Awards Season Movies to start.
