I mean, as crazy as the latex boots are, I LOVE all these colors and cannot resist the stripes. It's maybe a little TOO cheerful for Jennifer Lawrence, but wouldn't Emma Stone look a treat in it?
Not as successful, though I love the yellow. This silhouette, though, does feel reminiscent of this Chanel show.
It will not surprise you that the perkier color combinations make me happier than this version does.
I just love that green, and hate that shapelessness in a real-world context (but enjoy it on a runway). This looks like the world's glammest beach cover-up, though, because I could swear I can see tan lines on the model's torso.
"SHIT. We forgot to make the top. Can we just... yes, just pull it up, and staple it. STAPLE IT TIGHT. SO TIGHT."
This is so tailor-made for Keira Knightley that it's almost as if they checked with her first. Although she's not so much a Dior girl, so we'll see how that goes.
This could be tremendous.
Felicity Jones loves a black Dior dress, so maybe she'll snap this up. I think she's in an "I'll snap that up" place now that she's an Oscar nominee.
I wish this went all the way down, because then it would be Met Gala giant.
That pattern is sort of cool, but the strange combination of shapelessness and structure gives it the whiff of being homemade in someone's crafting den.
I want a do-over for that fabric so badly. And that shape and strangeness makes me afraid that Marion Cotillard will bite.
And NOW we are into a big bowl of nutballs. There were a couple more of these filmy-overcoat outfits on the runway and they all looked off; this was the one that I found MOST pleasing in an I'm A Really Odd Old Lady way.
Oh, and here's one now, along with some boots it will take an army to remove.
That color blue is beautiful and I am not sure what else to say.
Such a pretty fabric, twisted into such a strange quasi-brassiere. A quasierre?
This reminds me that I have some beloved orange flats that are about to die, and that I don't wear enough necklaces.
This is like Entry Level Dior. You think it's simple and you can wear it and then you're SUCKED IN and suddenly you're wearing a very ornate balloon.
Parts of this are pretty, but overall the effect is of the linens you've picked out of the bottom of the Christmas box, with all kinds of debris clinging tightly.
It's not the worst thing, but I AM realizing that I need to grow up into the woman in the sunglasses back there on the right.
... if I wait, will it grow into a fully realized thing?
Okay, but we didn't need to swerve into THIS much coverage. It's a SWEATER JUMPSUIT. A swumpsuit.
Look, you NEED both color options. Because you just don't know how you're going to FEEL in the morning and it's best to be prepared.
And you definitely need the versions with the modesty napkins.
If Chrissy Teigen ever refereed a novelty Super Bowl replacement program -- like the Lemur Bowl or whatever -- she would do it in this.
I weirdly like this. Obviously in real life it needs to be less perilous to a lady's privacy, and the coat is crazy, but just imagine stomping around in this for your job. Not bad.
I like this, too. Have I fallen and hurt myself, or am I sane?
ALSO cute (the length issue, for normal people, goes without saying).
HELLO LOVER BE MINE IT'S ALMOST VALENTINE'S DAY DON'T WITHHOLD YOUR AFFECTIONS.
This looks like a child's book about hidden monsters. Maybe I'll write that book.
ANd THIS is totally 100 percent Julia Roberts' hooker outfit from Pretty Woman, reimagined as the highest of fashion.
Just in case we need more prairie-appropriate versions of it.
This is flat-out great.
Cheer up, kid. You didn't get the worst of it by FAR.
Come on, Kruger. You know you want to. You're feeling it. Your fingers are tingling.
I loved this detail shot. Sometimes up close you can appreciate what the designs make it hard to see from afar.
PARTY BOOTS.
