This is, per usual, just too much. Way, way too much. I find myself thinking that if it were just the skirt, and not that horrible frumpy bodice, we might be okay...

... and then LO. I am not completely sure that bodice works EITHER, but it's much better -- there's a softness and elegance to this, at least, and the overall gown harkens back to the days when Marchesa displayed craftsmanship more than just... boobs.

Why the waist-stain? It doesn't read ombre, really, and just dampens the overall effect.

More overworked stuff, but again, I'm not mad at it precisely because it at least displays workmanship.

I'm sure one can argue that ALL garments display workmanship, but you smell what I'm cooking. The bodice here feels less intricate and more BORING.

Either of those two things could make a pretty dress, but I'm not feeling them as much together. HOWEVER, Julianne Hough is totally wearing that one too, right?

It just looks like the skirt material is shooting out of her vagina.

Is that sheer at the middle? Still, I'd be shocked if we didn't see this somewhere, because it's such a ball gown.

Sometimes I think, "I don't HAVE to repeat that someone would need to line it," and then I think, "Well, but they don't always DO IT."

This is like fencing in a birdhouse, mixed with my least favorite cut of dress: opaque only at the shins. PUT THIS TO REST PLEASE.

This is ALSO not to my personal tastes. It doesn't feel vintage-y enough nor fresh enough. Just sort of fussy.

And then of course we have a slapdash take on a Disney dress.

And the boob-harness version.

And the Being Felt Up By A Bird version (although there is something graceful about this too; it's a SOOTHINGLY handsy bird)(and I know birds can't technically be handsy, but wingsy sounded dumber).

And the bridal version, which would've been fun to see come down the runway. A LOT of these would have, as I suspect they are dresses whose beauty lies in seeing the quality in person rather than in two dimensions.

And, Evil Stepsister Goes To Funeral While Only Pretending To Be Sad.

This is beautiful, though. Maybe some nits here and there, but mostly this was a happy surprise.

I LOVE that skirt. I might argue that the whole bodice should only be the deep fuchsia part? It's not ineffective, though; I just don't actually like the way they transition from the lace stuff to the skirt, so I suppose making it all pink wouldn't help. Keep the skirt, though, for sure.

I like the idea of this, but if the fit looks wonky on the MODEL...

And, obviously, this happened. I like the top way better than anything below, oh, the pelvis.

Party dresses! This is cute and will get worn to an Upper East Side school formal.

And THIS looks like someone started dissecting one of the other dresses.

Ugh.

Why is she storing powder puffs in her bra?

Oh, dear, her powder puffs got infected.

Terrible. But in general, aren't we delighted there weren't MORE of these?

That relief is tempered by the very existence of this, which is unnecessary and atonal (if fashion had a sound). now PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE NSFW...

O VILE MESHSUCK, I BANISH THEE TO THE D-MINUS LISTERS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR GRAMMYS OUTFITS.
