But in all seriousness, who other than Katy Perry will buy these? I think this is part of what I don't understand about some of these lines. The Blonds do a ton of custom work for pop singers and concerts. You can see where they make their money. It's obvious. On the other end of the spectrum, Michael Kors sells lights out in perfume, accessories, key chains, and ALSO in higher priced items, because there are a lot more women who can afford an expensive turtleneck than there are women who want to drop mad cash on something like this. I literally don't understand how there are enough women with enough money who are interested in wearing this. And sure, stuff gets changed from runway to the real world, but you can't change this THAT much.
