Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 It's like the sweater you tied around your waist became sentient...AND EVIL.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 I feel like even Noomi Rapace in the front row there is like, "no, I'm just literally confused about how this WORKS."
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 This thing has, like, four arms.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 But this is fabulously cozy. I can't wait to see Gywneth wearing it whilst shopping for organic Braeburn apples or some shit.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 I feel like I need to know if this is a print or a woven. I just accidentally typed "a woman." I am pretty sure that I don't think the model is a print.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 I definitely think I need to see more of that bag.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 And considerably less of this. Like, never of this.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 That's a LOT of fringe and when someone wears it in public, it is going to be BAD. Mark my words. Someone is going to talk K Stew into this and it will end in tears. Mine.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Someone found her old Spirograph whilst cleaning out the garage.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 NO. It's like two loincloths coming together to create one giant evil LOIN EXPERIENCE.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 But this is a very cozy sweater coat. It's like a wine cardigan on steroids. It's when your wine-cardigan needs are too big for just a regular sweater.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 This skirt is one of those skirts that like six people in the world can wear with real assurance. Even Stella herself isn't one of them. (Goop, though? Yes.)
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Yes, those are stirrup pants leggings. In other words: YES, STELLA IS TRYING TO KILL US.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Maggie Gyllenhaal is frantically fumbling for her AmEx right now.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 This isn't bad -- it's not my personal taste, but I get it -- but it also looks like something you could also probably get at Cost Plus World Market.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Oh, Lord, I pray for the woman whose stylist shovels her into this get-up because the rodeo jokes will be many and they will be unkind.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 In case you're in the market for a dowdy suit. I know I sure am!
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 This little number is going to be trotted out all over town and some women will pull it off better than others. I actually would put this on Kristen Stewart also. It will look cute with her Converse.
Stella McCartney : Runway - Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2014-2015 This would look cute paired with an open flame. Stirrup pants? NON. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!
High Fugshion: Stella McCartney Paris Fashion Week Fall 2014
Let's see what Stella's going to be inflicting upon us next. Actually, some of it isn't half bad, I don't think. But I'm also in the post-Oscars fugue state, so who even knows what I'm talking about? I just danced around my living room to an Oreo commercial. In fairness, those Oreo commercials are awesome; the ad agency who pulled those off deserves a raise. (Fun fact, the Martin Agency creative director who wrote the jingle also wrote the Free Credit Report.com jingle.) Hey, did I just fall into an fugue-state-prompted Oreo commercial wormhole? I did! Can I somehow connect it back to Stella by noting that her father also wrote his share of very very catchy tunes that also make you dance around your living room? Not really, but I gave it the old college try. [Photos: Getty]
