This event was at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, and this look IS properly showgirl-y. I think the top doesn't fit great, but you know. It's Ciara. She could show up wearing a Trader Joe's bag and I'd be like, "I mean, she looks pretty good?"

This man is a delight and this is charming even though, at a quick glance, the bit of his jeans you see under those chaps looks like a codpiece. (I was like, "denim codpiece! Fun!")

This color is great but overall this feels a little bit like something she packed for Vegas and then realized she could go to this party and decided it would do just as well. You know how I often say, "I wish so-and-so had saved such-and-such for a better event?" I think this probably landed at the right party but only because the AMAs were sort of Sad Trombone this year.

Heidi Montag in The Blonds

I actually LOVE this outfit on her, for this event, but she needed to wear the matching runway shoes with it and just go for it. I also wish she'd gone way less Local TV News Anchor with her hair. Essentially, I think the styling here broke it a little.
