Hi everyone! As most of you probably know, and have experienced, we've been on a roller-coaster of pop-ups and rogue redirects in the ad pool. Weeding them out has been extremely frustrating and we're basically brimming with rage about it at all times. There is great irony in the fact that you may be trying to read this post, and getting one of them in your face!!! However, this week we're trying to add a new service on the back end that purports to "clean" these in ways our ad-tech folks claim they can't do on their own (NOT TIFFANY; she is perfect; she doesn't do the ads. Once that's installed, we'll give you an update. In the meantime, while clearing the cache regularly does not necessarily help, it might at least forestall them... temporarily?!?

There are ways to do it with just our site and not your entire browser. Chrome and Firefox make it the easiest. If you use **Chrome,** there's a little circle in the URL bar to the left of our site URL; click on that and then choose "Cookies and Site Data" and then "Manage Site Data." A little window will pop up and you can click the trash can next to our URLs. That's right, throw us in the trash. On **Firefox**, that icon looks like either a lock or a shield. In **Safari**, go to Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data and search for our website, select it, and click Remove. On **Edge**, go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data, then search on our site and hit delete or remove. And on an **iPhone or iPad**, it's Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Show All Sites, if need be, and then search on our website name and delete accordingly.

In October, we also have some under-the-hood changes coming that we hope will help -- more on that later, but SPOILER, it may involve an edit button in the comments; at least one of you has promised to deliver us a kingdom in exchange for that and WE WILL BE COLLECTING. I'm kidding but also if you do have a kingdom, maybe we can all just move there and self-govern for a while? Think about it.
