This is fashion's ode to string cheese. It looks like a gilded cage. And now I'm imagining her barfing on the floor, or in the sink, as described in the story; it might wipe off the dress, but that's IF it didn't splash through the holes between the cell bars. Oof.

I am not a big Jenna Lyons devotee -- J. Crew's quality went down precipitously while she was there, and while I don't know how much of that is down to any decisions she made, it wasn't as rosy an era as it's often remembered. Having said that, and speaking of rosy, this IS hilarious. I think it's empirically ridiculous, and that the pants are out of whack -- a skinny jean would have balanced the volume? -- but I AM entertained.
