How Bad Was It: Dior in 2017

I couldn't decide which of these two first ones I like best, so I just went with the one that I think Fug Nation liked more unanimously. (I think?) This was a major moment for Elle after a busy Cannes, and Dior rose to meet her. Having said that, when I saw it, I guessed Oscar de la Renta and Monique Lhuillier first.

Zoe Kravitz

I LOVED this one. The back of the skirt continues through the rainbow, and I think the whole affair fits Zoe's aura very very well. It also would look amazing on her mother Lisa Bonet.

Kirsten Dunst

This is vintage, so it doesn't technically count toward what the house is doing now, but: Digging into the archives isn't such a bad idea if it produces gems like this, and maybe it'll inspire what's coming.

Much of this dress's potential comes from it being on Angelina, who tends to be REALLY boring when it comes to cuts and details. I was happy to see her in something different, and the color reads as a silvery-purple-gray to me, though some felt it was dingy.

Sure! I mean, we're definitely getting into the lumpy section of this thing where nothing is heinous but neither is it stupendous.
