# I Almost Didn't Recognize Jon Snow Without His Facial Hair

I don't really have much good to say about Rose Leslie's dull suit -- it's present and accounted for, it fits, it's the reason the old man is snoring even though it isn't raining -- but I was taken aback by Kit Harington without his beard. I'm sure this isn't the first time he's been without it, but for some reason the short hair and the shorn face threw me. He's giving me unexpected "Cary Elwes's slightly evil nephew" vibes. I didn't see it coming. And while Jon Snow was not always my particular cup of tea, it kind of makes me miss his Westeros grunge.

Look, it's Gwen the Maid and The Dangerously Handsome Mr. Pamuk, alive and well after his tangle with Lady Mary's deadly vagina. What a stellar reason to invent and use time travel. He and Mary could've avoided a *lot* of trouble.
