I had a brief moment where I thought this dress was covered in lint -- as if Taylor Swift, cat owner, had forgotten her lint brush -- but no. It is very subtle glitter. I actually really like this on her. It's sparse, and just girly enough.

I didn't watch this -- I can only take so many awards shows in one year, and I'm still eye-gazed from the Oscars -- but Madonna looks EXACTLY as I imagine her at all times. I can totally picture her strolling into Taylor's dressing room and being like, "Taylor. We're all wearing thigh-highs tonight," and Taylor was just like, "...okay. You're Madonna!"

I'd just like to suggest to Hollywood (the entity, not the Meschach Taylor character, although I'd ALSO like to talk to HIM, especially given that Meschach Taylor is sadly dead) that perhaps a reboot of Mannequin is exactly the project that Taylor Swift has been waiting for, in her long search for an acting follow-up to Valentine's Day. That SOUNDS quite mean of me, but seriously Taylor Swift is actually one of the best parts of Valentine's Day, which is a terrible movie. (She may also be one of the best parts of Valentine's Day, the holiday, if you are single and spend the entire time listing to 1989.)
