There is a scene in *Dude, Where's My Car?* \-- a movie I love, but which I suspect has not aged well since last I saw it, given that it was already extremely, EXTREMELY dumb to begin with -- wherein we learn that Hal Sparks is the leader of a cult and that said cult dresses solely in bubble-wrap. (There are some good throwaway comedy bits because the rest of the cult members obviously can't stop popping their outfits.) And I'm not sure if it's a good sign in 2019 that ANY look inspires me to think of *Dude, Where's My Car*? -- but I'm POSITIVE that it's not great if my reaction is to be disappointed that said look is not MORE like *Dude, Where's My Car?.*
