One of my favorite games to play at really, really low-level "awards" shows like this one is to try to figure out why people who don't NEED to be there decide to attend. Like, if you're a country music singer, you obviously come to this because IHeartWhatever is owned by a company that owns a multitude of radio stations in American and you don't want to piss them off. If you are Candace Cameron Bure...are you promoting a new season of Full House: Netflix? Because that doesn't came back for ages, as far as I know. Do you just REALLY want to make sure everyone knows you love red right now?

Jana Kramer was VERY good on the later seasons of One Tree Hill and I sort of wish the world of acting hadn't lost her to country music, but it did and that's why she'd popped out in her split-shorts and cape combo.

Josh Henderson
I presume Josh Henderson is promoting his show on E! where he's in a cult and his wife-for-hire is...something something something. (I have only ever seen the ads.) But perhaps Josh Henderson got a taste for country when he was on the Dallas reboot (on which I thought he was excellent). Maybe Josh has a twangy album of heartstoppers coming our way this summer.
Skyler Samuels
Skyler Samuels looks very pretty in this, and I was going to bet that she's decided to transition from acting -- she was on that show on Freeform where she was a girl who could turn into a cat? Or something? and also on Scream Queens -- into singing, but her Wiki informs me that (a) she's graduated from Stanford (good for her!) and (b) she's on The Gifted, which I thought had been canceled but which apparently got renewed, so her popping up for this event DID help the cause of her career, because now we all know that! Nice shoes, too.
