(Photo by JB Lacroix/FilmMagic) If someone wrote a musical about my life -- please don't -- I feel like the big Act One closer would be called PLEASE LINE THIS DRESS or WHY IS IT SHEER? I actually like this but this half-lined thing is conceptually tiresome. ## Julia Fox in Willy Chavarria ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201333334-1740419767.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Julia Fox attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) Before I read the caption on this, I thought, "who is THIS, she is a hoot!" Well, I stand by it. This whole thing is a very aughts take on a low-level designer imposter Batman. It's fun. ## Julianne Moore in The Row ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201342964-1740419853.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Julianne Moore attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) It's been YEARS since she's looked this cool. I love it, PLEASE don't go back to Chanel. ## Mikey Madison in Calvin Klein ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201338708-1740419840.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Mikey Madison attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) I have some questions about her styling. This looks like she's at the fitting and her team has said, "obviously, we'll take it in." I know this Calvin Klein line just looks like this but I think it reads as too big on her and I don't get why her hair and makeup and accessories are so nondescript. There is something about this that feels...business-like and I wish her team would take her a little younger. ## Amy Adams in Carolina Herrera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2200810797-1740419625.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Amy Adams attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by JB Lacroix/FilmMagic) Y'all, Amy's gotten into the tinsel again!! ## Carrie Coon in Salon 1884 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2200810890-1740419638.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Carrie Coon attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by JB Lacroix/FilmMagic) I love her but I also fear this will be featured in WHY IS IT SHEER? ## Ruth Negga in Prada ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201334624-1740419792.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Ruth Negga attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) PRADA YOU DID IT. This is perfect on her. THIS is understated in a way I wish they'd try on Mikey Madison too. ## Maisy Stella ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2200811169-1740419666.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Maisy Stella attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by JB Lacroix/FilmMagic) I do think this particular event might be the awards show at which stylists are like, "I dunno, but it's the Indie Spirits, I think we have some plausible deniability here." ## Izaac Wang ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201323888-1740419688.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Izaac Wang attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) This is snazzy! ## Shinnosuke Abe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201327735-1740419711.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Shinnosuke Abe attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) Handsome. ## Tadanobu Asano and Hiroyuki Sanada ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201334730-1740419807.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: (L-R) Tadanobu Asano and Hiroyuki Sanada attend the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) Handsome and handsome. (This is the handsome break.) ## Jessica Gunning ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201324879-1740419700.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Jessica Gunning attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) She is absolutely more interesting than this but they're at the tail end of a very long period of time promoting Baby Reindeer so maybe she's just tired! ## Danielle Deadwyler in Carolina Herrera ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201327744-1740419727.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Danielle Deadwyler attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) I WANT to make a Glamour Don't Bar joke, just reflexively, but also she looks great in this so I can't. DAMMIT DANIELLE! ## Katy O’Brian ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201334432-1740419780.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Katy O’Brian attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) This is really cool on Katy and also looks like what I imagined the costumes in *Fantastic Beasts* would have looked like if that were an entirely different and more interesting project that didn't involve You Know Who. There's something 1920s Witchy about it. ## Nava Mau in Tanner Fletcher ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201385404-1740419865.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Nava Mau attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic) Okay! I get it! (I mean that positively.) ## Walton Goggins ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201335958-1740419817.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: Walton Goggins attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) "Just want you all to know that I have not skipped Arm Day and nor will I." ## June Squibb ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2025/02/GettyImages-2201320275-1740419678.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 22: June Squibb attends the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards on February 22, 2025 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty Images) Yay June Squibb!
