Adam looks pleasantly pulled together, in a suit that's MILDLY bedeviled by small fit issues -- the jacket is too small, the pants a wee short. Rebel, however, is wearing a custom gown, and THAT is how custom should always fit. She looks delightful. I just don't get the pinky lip. I know that we can't and shouldn't always match our clothes exactly, but this one seems a bit too far off from the color family? It just looks very daytime for SUCH a glam gown**.**

This feels very glitzy and I'M COMING OUT, I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOOOW, GOT TO LET IT SHOOOOW. This is Priyanka's second major Hollywood movie -- the first being *Baywatch*, which I am pretty sure everyone involved wants to the whole world to forget, and would pay a pretty penny for some *Eternal Sunshine* mind tricks right now -- and this gown is very movie star

I still can't quite... feel the heat with these two. But hey, I'm not them; I don't have to feel it.

Miley brought even more drama than she did to the Grammys. I love that she kept it low-key for that; she was there for Dolly and Shawn Mendes and that's that; she didn't show up dressed as a horse or a Brach's Peppermint Candy or wearing suspenders as a shirt, and I think that's great. I DO enjoy that she took her job very seriously as the Hemsworth of Record at this event and SPLASHED OUT.

But from the front of course it's a wreck. [Valentino can look so effective and floaty and magical on the runway](https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/pre-fall-2019/valentino/slideshow/collection?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#87), but then half the time when it gets plonked into the real world (well, as real as a red carpet is), it's a distracting heap of underboob and ruffles and sheers and prairie hems. Which is funny, if she meant it as a Hems pun.

She looks just lovely, and then when we get to her feet, it's fourth and inches and she just gives the ball to the other team.

I get that the order of the day -- for some ladies, anyway - may have been pinks and reds and blushes, but [this was shown in a dark teal](https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/resort-2019/missoni/slideshow/collection?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#13) (look 13, if the link doesn't take you there), and that would have been so gorgeous on Betty. This color works, too, but I wish for colorful accessories to lend spice.

This looks like one of those Tide commercials where they hurl a bunch of stuff at something white just to prove it can get out stains. Never be the "before" picture.

This is perfectly nice, but I am just never going to love a gown that is like, "HI, I GREW FROM A BRA."

These two are both married to other people, and are thus NOT dating; they know each other because he was in the *SMILF* indie short that turned into the TV series. Which I have not watched. Would I like it? Someone please make my life choices for me. Thanks. He is enough to make me vow never to use Verizon IN MY LIFETIME, but he does look nice. So does she. That's a great, rock-edged dress.

Erin wrote this movie, and I am delighted to note that she also played Esme on *Passions*, a character about whom the Wiki says, AHEM, "\[T\]hough she was once close to her sister, a heated argument led Esme to push her sister out of a third story window, ruining their relationship." AS IT WOULD. She also drank 25 Jagerbombs and then burned down her father's hunting lodge, burned down the school gym because she hated climbing the rope (she liked fire), and AND AND she once had a boyfiend named Pete, "who is revealed to have a bizarre cat fetish. The two are engaged in foreplay when Pete, dressed as a cat, is viciously mauled and killed by his neighbor's dog." Her next boyfriend died during sexual role play by a needle that had been dipped in poison. She then slept with a random wharf Santa to see if her vagina was cursed, and he died, so people decided she should sleep with people AS MURDER (it didn't work because her niece was in fact killing them, or trying to). The point of this story is that PEOPLE FROM SOAP OPERAS DO GREAT THINGS, both on their soaps and off, and I love that genre and I am always DELIGHTED when people are taken seriously outside of it. YOU GO, ESME.
