It is NOT a diverse crop of female nominees this year, and without having seen anything yet except *The Sound of Metal*, I don't know enough to know who else could be in here. But, Amy snuck in alongside Glenn -- and also like Glenn, this makes her tenth nomination -- which means, yay, we'll get to see someone who used to do the rounds regularly but has been very much out of the eye since Covid. Other than *Hillbilly Elegy*, she didn't have any releases in 2019 or 2020, unless you count the Snyder cut of *Justice League*, which... she probably does not. But she's got two projects done in 2021 and two in pre-production, so we'll see more of her again soon. Might as well whet our appetites.
